If + present , will + bezokolicznik
Zamiast if
unless (= if not), as long as (o ile), in case (na wypadek gdyby), when (kiedy — pewne).
Przykłady
If you heat water to 100°C, it boils.
Jeśli podgrzejesz wodę do 100°C, zagotuje się.
If I have time tomorrow, I'll call the client.
Jeśli będę miał jutro czas, zadzwonię do klienta.
If I drink coffee after 5, I can't sleep.
Jeśli piję kawę po 17, nie mogę spać.
Unless we hurry, we'll miss the flight.
